From retrieving doves in the Arkansas heat to busting ice through the decoy spread, Miss Mya has done it all since she was 6 months old. 
In honor of National Puppy Day on March 23, 2016 I posted this picture of myself and my sidekick Mya. She might be almost two-years-old but I still consider her a puppy. Labs don’t grow out of the puppy stage until they are at least four so thats how I’m justifying it!
Dove season opened September 5th – October 24th in 2015 when this photo was taken. It is a great way to start off the hunting year and for Mya to practice marking, retrieving, and following commands before duck season in November!
